Still here…

Staunch unsightly walls encompass me.

I only want to sleep.

My words fail to be kind or meaningful or coherent.

Shadows are everywhere.

They hide the light from my wanting heart.

I am crying out to be found.

I lament and whisper praise out of a heart that wants to be gently obedient.

Find me, dear Father.

Please find me.

Sweetness fluttering around me.

Letters in the mail.

Words from friends.

Smiles and waves.

Gentle squeezes of my hand by my dearest.

My heart overflows.

And I am slowly emerging still a mother.  Still in love with my family.

tinuviel - From my morning reading in Isaiah 30:
“For a people shall dwell in Zion, in Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. As soon as he hears it, he answers you. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher” (19-20).
May the Lord answer your cry with grace that dries your tears. May this adversity reveal Him to you more clearly so you know you are found as you are loved.

SuperSavingSara - Sending hugs and prayers your way. Please let me know if you need anything at all.
