National French Onion Soup Day

Did you know that March 8th is National French Onion Soup Day?

French Onion Soup is Brian’s favorite soup. I haven’t mastered it yet, so it’s a good thing we have a Mimi’s Cafe around the corner. Do you remember when I stopped by Mimi’s earlier this year to test out their new menu?! We were fans before, but this definitely sealed the deal for us. The flavors and the service were amazing.

Visiting with their head chef, Katie Sutton, and hearing about her vision and passion for their menu was an honor. She truly loves French food and she really wants to give you the flavors of Paris. (And we were so glad that Brian’s favorite soup made their new menu!)

I know a lot of you are having terrible weather and a lovely cup of soup would be perfect for you right now. Did you know that you can get it for just $3.99 a cup, or $5.99 for a bowl (not Parisian prices at all!).

Mimi’s is also known for their classics – Pot Roast, Chicken Parm, Fish & Chips, Asian Chopped Salad! Yum!

Well, let me know if you are celebrating National French Onion Soup Day and be sure and enter their giveaway!
