My daddy.

He has a personality as wonderful as Texas.

He is fast friends with everyone he meets and his kindness knows no limits.

He still takes my calls when I need help deciphering what funny noise the car is making.

He drove to Aggieland just to buy my sweet husband a former student license plate cover for his birthday.

One of my favorite memories of daddy is sitting on the floor at the foot of his bed, listening to him play guitar. He would take a Psalm and put it to music, with his lovely voice and guitar.

I’d sit on the floor and my brother and I would make up harmonies and sing along.
