Sunset, Trucks and Deer

DSC_0016

Our last evening in Carmine,

(before the 23 hour ride back to Arizona),

we all hopped in Uncle Ryan’s truck and went looking for deer.

The kids had never been, so they were on pins and needles hopin’ to see a few deer.

{I’m sorry about the blurry pictures! I was leaning out of Uncle Ryan’s truck}

Do you see that last one?! He was a beautiful, huge buck.

Why were there so many deer in one place?

Well, they were in rut. Which means they really like each other right now.

A lot.

You know, it being the holidays and all ::giggle::

How did we find them?

Well, Uncle Ryan grew up on this land. He just knows where they are.

Thank you, Uncle Ryan, for an amazing treat!
