Each week, I speak with moms about how they are doing. It may be for a few minutes at the park or it might be for an hour at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). The one thing we all have in common is how hard we are on ourselves. We question every decision. We research our choices on the internet. We ask others for advice.

If you are a mom, I’d love for you to stop for a minute.
Look at those little faces you serve each day. You know you love them with all your heart. You know that you want the very best for them.
It is okay to research and make informed decisions, but I want you to breathe for a minute. Relax. Those little faces love you too. In fact, they adore you. They know you are who makes them feel safe. They know you are who feeds them and protects them.

Stop looking over your shoulder to see who is watching and what they are saying.
Look at those beautiful eyes right in front of you and smile. Take comfort in knowing that you are doing the absolute best that you can for them, and one day they will thank you for it.

What would your little one tell you if they could talk?
They would say, mom, thank you for the food and the snuggles. I really like it when we look at each other. I really like it when you talk to me and tell me what is going on around you.
Mary Alice and I had a blast helping to make this video from WaterWipes, a chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% purified water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. Keep your eye out for her smile in her commercial debut!
It has been so fun to be a part of learning who they are and watching their passion for helping moms change the conversation.
