Today is Super Bowl Sunday and the last day of the Phoenix Open. Translated into traffic terms that means that it would take me at least 20 minutes to get to my Walgreens, instead of the usual 4 minutes. So, instead of fighting traffic, I have turkey chili cooking in the crock-pot and I am checking on our family’s Medication Refills online!

I am heading to a photography conference next weekend, so I have a list of items that I want to make sure I have completed before I travel. I need to make sure that Brian’s dry cleaning is picked up, school folders and organized, bills are mailed, and prescriptions are picked up.

Did you know that you can manage your prescription refills online with Walgreens?

Simply log in to your account at Walgreens.com. (If you don’t have an account, it is very easy to sign up for their secure account. It only took me about five minutes.)  You can find the place to log in at the top right of their homepage.

I’m so glad I checked on this today. I won’t need a refill until the 20th, but see that little ‘Refills Left’ column? I need to schedule an appointment with my physician, so that I can be sure and qualify for a refill when the time comes.

I love tools that make my family management tasks simpler. Being able to sit on my couch and check on my prescriptions and my family’s prescriptions is a huge time saver. It also gives me peace of mind to know that I am heading out of town with everyone all squared away.
