If we’ve been friends for a while, then you know that I clean when I’m stressed.
Yesterday, we had a very special visitor from 1pm until 8pm.
I could not sit still. I volunteered in Nate’s classroom, I picked up the dry cleaning, I dusted, I cleaned every room until it ‘shined like the top of the Chrystler building’ {name that movie}.
Remember Monica from friends? I totally relate. Everything just has to be ‘right’.
What do you do when you are stressed? I could use some ideas for this morning 🙂
Hugs!
Kate

I do the same thing! There’s something special about cleaning when you’re stressed, some how the physical part of cleaning helps clear the mind. I also bake! I don’t recommend that! Calories!
I go through my pictures and create scrapbooks. It gets my mind off things and becomes very therepeutic for me. Good luck!! Extra prayers your way!!!
Annie!
I clean, or eat something that I probably should not. Trying to replace that “eating what I should not” with running. 🙂
annie!
i clean, too. it’s so my therapy. when the cleaning is done i organize… keeps the mind busy.
praying for God’s peace to reign in your heart and mind.
Running really used to help, but my body won’t let me do that now. Piano, knit/crochet, and yes, eating things I shouldn’t, as Blaire mentioned.
Prayers to you!
Annie! Oh, I love that movie. Was thinking of you today. I have a friend who is starting the adoption process. They adopted from Ethiopia 2 years ago, but are now looking at fostering/adoption. Anyway, as we talked it all out today I found myself even more nervous as she!! And yes, I cleaned. And prayed. And cleaned some more. It’s an exciting time. 😉
I say, bake !! Then you can proceed with eating. If time permits- dance it out! I am sending happy thoughts to you.
kate don’t forget you are fabulous! …. no, I don’t bother to clean!
