Wednesday was my first time ever to attend the Phoenix Open! We have lived here for five years and it is hard to believe I haven’t been yet. Even though we are more of a college football family, I learned the Phoenix Open isn’t just for golf fanatics! It is a great way to enjoy the beautiful Arizona January with stunning scenery. This Phoenix tradition offers something for everyone! I was even told that Sunday is the perfect day to bring your family as the crowds are usually a little smaller.

Did you know that you can buy $25.00 of participating products at Fry’s and receive a free ticket? How do you know which products to purchase? You just look for the graphic below:

At the Open, Fry’s has a great Fan Zone where you can refuel with food, drink, and shade. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious!

They also have a fun booth in the expo, so be sure and stop by! Try your hand a putting a hole-in-one!

#FrysFanZone-6One of my favorite parts of the day was watching celebrities golf with Olympians from the Special Olympics. Randy Johnson also spoke about his passionate support of the Wounded Warrior project.

Tom Chambers was great with the crowd! He was so kind with everyone wanting to say “hello”!

    Thnx for posting about this! We have relatives in town and are thinking of going w/ them Saturday morning…I had no clue about purchasing $25 worth of participating products to get a free ticket! That’s awesome!
