I signed up for Bloggy Boot Camp.
For those of you that know me, that was probably not a HUGE surprise that I would be willing to go be in a room with happy strangers who liked to blog….

But I have a secret. Since our move to AZ, two years ago, I have rarely stretched myself in person.
I created an etsy shop (online).
I entered photography contests. (online)
I started a blog (online).
See the pattern? I was very comfortable behind the computer.
There was a waiting list for the boot camp here in Phoenix, so it felt safe… but about a week before, I received a ticket!
I was SO nervous!
My sweet B had to watch at least seven wardrobe changes that morning. I dawdled and took photos as I drove to the Boot Camp. I arrived late, feeling so nervous and guilty ~ it reminded me of PW’s armpits, which made me giggle… (If you don’t know about PW’s armpits, you NEED to be reading Pioneer Woman’s blog, you can get there by looking on the left hand side under ‘Blogs I love… go ahead ~ I won’t be offended, I promise. You will LOVE her!).
(I’ll wait for you right here…. )
Can I just tell you? I just LOVED every minute.
The talks were A-MA-ZING! I felt so encouraged and inspired.
Jyl from Mom it Forward, Laurie from Tip Junkie, Sugar from SugarJones.tv, Kim from Today’s Creative Blog, Kelly from @childhood (we’ll come back to her in a few days!), Loralee from Loralee’sLooneyTunes, Marlynn from Urban Bliss, Lisa from LisaLeonard Designs… amazing, talented, delicious, smartypants moms who are helpful and wanted ME to share in their discoveries!
How many people do you know who find success doing what they love and turn around and share the steps to success with the world?
They genuinely wanted EVERY WOMAN in the room to succeed!
(Sorry about the all caps world today! I am so excited… um, and I may have had a few to many Dove Chocolate PBs last night….)
Anyways, what I am trying to say is… if you love to blog and you have a chance to go to Bloggy Boot Camp, do it! I’d love to hear if you went and the tips you received from it!
Trust me, if I can do it, so can you!

Thanks for sending me this link! Thrilled to read that you enjoyed your time at Bloggy Boot Camp.
And I couldn’t agree more. So often it is easier to connect with people from behind the safety of our computers. Meeting people in person can be a bit daunting. Thankfully, we have wonderful events like BBC where everyone seems to have a fantastic time!
