Memories… my dad always told me that his job was making memories. I have taken this job as my own with my children. This trip (with just my parents and brother) was amazing.
Traveling to Corpus Christi, Texas… so many memories.
Strong hands… Hands that trained pilots for WWII, hands that held my father as a baby, hands that held me as a baby, hands that builds sheds and loves birds, hands that still fly his flight simulator every day… Hands that pray.
He just finished his shed (can I remind you that I am here for his 90th birthday?!)

African Violets, Cats, Clogging, Building your own stages and floors and roofs, Planes, WWII, books, singing, pianos, the beach, seashells, Whataburger, Ocean Drive, square dancing,

They had a program from my junior year of high school on their coffee table. Do you know how special that can make a girl feel?!

The birdcage from my kids ~ in their backyard. Yeah, life is good.
