Signs of spring

I am blessed.

This year, my birthday week has been filled with so many things that I love…

  • Family coming together to celebrate my brother’s marriage
  • Springtime in Texas filled with bluebonnets and the color green
  • A new nephew
  • My grandmother
  • the farm
  • thrifting
  • Chai Tea Latte and dark chocolate graham crackers
  • My momma’s laughter downstairs and she talks with my children
  • Julia’s piano playing and Nate’s helpful attitude

Sweet baby James. My new nephew. Heaven.

My prayer for this next year is to keep growing in grace.

To want to know my Savior more. To desire to be overshadowed instead of center stage.

    I’ll second that prayer! It sounds like a wonderful birthday week. I’m envious of the bluebonnets, though. None here yet. Congratulations on the new sister-in-law and nephew!!! Yay for dark chocolate graham crackers. Better than Thin Mints, and that’s saying something.

    Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! Belatedly. I too will be 38 soon. Ouch. First time I’ve admitted that. So glad I married a man a few years older than I. That way I’m always the younger one. Of course, I like to say the younger trophy wife….hahahaaa…………..
