Signs of spring

I am blessed.

This year, my birthday week has been filled with so many things that I love…

  • Family coming together to celebrate my brother’s marriage
  • Springtime in Texas filled with bluebonnets and the color green
  • A new nephew
  • My grandmother
  • the farm
  • thrifting
  • Chai Tea Latte and dark chocolate graham crackers
  • My momma’s laughter downstairs and she talks with my children
  • Julia’s piano playing and Nate’s helpful attitude

Sweet baby James. My new nephew. Heaven.

Momma and I on my birthday doing my favorite thing... Thrifting and wandering!

My prayer for this next year is to keep growing in grace.

To want to know my Savior more. To desire to be overshadowed instead of center stage.

Thank you all so much for coming on this journey with me.

Please let me know how I can pray for you!

Blessed

  1. I missed your birthday? Well, it’s a good thing I celebrate Birth Month! Happy Birthday my dear friend. May this next year bring you abundance in all things good, a few more lines on your face from laughter and smiles and a heart filled with love from all those who appreciate your beauty and grace. Hugs, Sara

  2. Sounds like you are well and truly blessed and you know it! Happy Birthday!

  3. Happy birthday! What a fun time!

  4. I’ll second that prayer! It sounds like a wonderful birthday week. I’m envious of the bluebonnets, though. None here yet. Congratulations on the new sister-in-law and nephew!!! Yay for dark chocolate graham crackers. Better than Thin Mints, and that’s saying something.
    Happy, happy birthday!!!

  5. Hello and Happy Birthday from cold NY! I’m visiting from Life Rearranged. What I wouldn’t do for some Texas sun and warmth right now 🙂 !
Growing in God’s grace, less of me and more of Him…that’s my personal prayer as well!
    Blessings!

  7. Happy birthday as we bounce from one celebration to another.

  8. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!! Belatedly. I too will be 38 soon. Ouch. First time I’ve admitted that. So glad I married a man a few years older than I. That way I’m always the younger one. Of course, I like to say the younger trophy wife….hahahaaa…………..
