Isn’t it funny how they play with something and they move on to playing with something else. And about the time you decide to stick it all in the Goodwill pile, they become enamored with that something all over again?
My sweet friends Kelly and Maja and Shay are brilliant moms. They teach me so many wonderful things. One thing they taught me is to rotate toys. Have three or four ‘stashes’ of toys. Each stash stored in a different bin. About the time the kids get tired of whatever they are playing with, we rotate the bins. And Ta-Da! New toys today. Sometimes it is one month. Sometimes it is four. But it always does the trick.
