Our days have settled into the school routine. Up before six, scurrying around the house looking for shoes, and trying to feed everyone a breakfast that consists of more than granola bars. (I’m terrible at making breakfast. I love my sleep too much. Please tell me someone else out there struggles with this, too.)
Julia is regularly playing for morning Mass. It is amazing to stand there and watch her accompany the congregation in song.
Nate looks so incredibly handsome in his uniform. He is such a kind spirit. As long as everyone is happy and laughing, he is content. He protects the little ones and defends the quiet ones. He reminds me so much of my father.
And sweet Riley. Each day, he  sits a little longer and understands prayer a little more. It’s tough to sit still at three. There are so many things to see and do! He loves when we go to school with Nate and Julia. All of their friend’s fuss over him and make him feel so special.
