Today was a tough one.
Julia had a tooth extracted. Planned. Everything went fine. Still not fun.
I got a phone call from school while I was in the surgeon’s room with Julia. Nate was sick again. Poor baby.
And let’s just say that constipation is tough. I know I can’t be the only mamma that deals with this – because there are books and books to help little ones. But, we need to let the general public know that there are going to be times that they scream thirty minutes in the Walmart bathroom. They are gonna yell for help and that it hurts. People are gonna come in and knock on the door and ask if everything is OK.
But here’s the deal.
As I was trying to cope with the thirty minute drama, I checked my instagram feed. One mamma needs prayer for her little boy who had a cold and it has escalated suddenly to no brain activity. (Please pray for a little boy named Luke). One mamma is serving overseas. She is sharing her stories of poverty and water and sickness.
I wish my grumbling would turn to praise more often. I wish I could remember to have perspective.
If you need perspective today, just look up and see others. It is so easy for me to look down and see only my troubles. Find someone to rally behind and care about. If you need some inspiration today, I challenge you to read Amy’s blog post. She needs some cheering and some rallying.
How can I cheer for you today?
Hugs,
Kate

Ugh. Rough days. Such a great thing though to pray for others in those times too though! Hope you have some peace today!
Wow, a rough day for a lot of people! I hope Julia and Nate feel better!
Last night I woke up at 1:15 am and looked around. No funny noises, no dogs with a need to go out. So I began to pray for people, those I knew, and those I haven’t met yet. Always know that someone is praying for you.
