When I was pregnant with Julia, I bought diapers every time I went to the store. I started a stock pile in our hall closet, to hopefully help when the baby came. I loved looking at the closet and watching the pile grow in anticipation of our little one. I knew there would be hospital and other expenses, so I wanted to be sure and budget the diapers early. We were living on one very small income, so I was very careful about spreading expenses out over time.
This time, I’ve been a little hesitant to buy anything because of our history. We’ve been so blessed that families have given us almost everything we will need. As I rounded the corner to seventeen weeks, I decided to allow myself to buy diapers. Because of my history of miscarriage, I’ve been waiting. I’ve decided to let myself relax a little and go ahead and prepare. If anything does happen, there will be plenty of opportunities to donate to friends and maternity homes.
All my other little ones were Huggies kids. They always fit well and had very few leak issues. Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers have a SureFit design for up to 12 hours of leakage protection.
My little ones also had very sensitive skin and the Natural Care Wipes always worked well for their delicate skin.
I also found out that Target will be launching a subscription service automatic shipments of diapers, wipes, formula and other household essentials. I’ve tried a subscription service before and it was absolutely wonderful for everything to show up on your doorstep just in time!
