Julia’s birthday came first this year – May 3rd

We had her party at our house on a Sunday afternoon and invited the girls from her class. It was the first year it wasn’t my friends kiddos that were the guests. I really missed visiting with all my friends and watching our kids stuff their faces ~ but it was really great to meet all the little girls I hear stories about and giggle to myself with sincere gratitude that I made it through my awkward years.

I had cute ‘make your own frame’ crafts planned…

But what did they want to do?

First, there was balloon baseball. Then….

Balloon volleyball. Then…

that digressed into just balcony balloon chaos!

For dinner it was a silly face contest at Panda Express. She totally won 🙂

And leftover cake the next day with friends. Hope your wish comes true baby girl.
