The Church Picnic…
“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn’t use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like “What about lunch?”” ~ Winnie the Pooh

Poor little thing ~ she is SO done with her cast.
Did I tell you? I was lamenting washing babies in the sink with Johnson’s Baby Shampoo and wrapping them up in a towel, just so they could sit on my lap and look out the window and smell wonderful for a brief minute. Well, I got my wish 🙂 Of course, now it is much more complicated. She doesn’t fit in the sink like she used to ~ and her beautiful hair is very hard to wash upside down!
So, now I am lamenting my independent little girl.
Lesson for the week: Be thankful ~ in whatever state we are in. (Literally!) Praise Him.
Philippians 4
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
