This spring, Riley was in charge of watering the garden.
With Mary Alice’s arrival I wasn’t too concerned about the plants living or dying. I was hopeful, but I was OK either way.
Well, Riley did an amazing job! The plants are not only living, they are thriving! I think I have a future gardener living here!
There is something about working outside, getting your hands dirty that just makes the day seem bright. With all the rain we have had, the lemon tree has given us a bonus harvest this year! We are really looking forward to making lemonade again soon!
It’s been our little morning nap break. When I put Mary Alice down for her morning nap, Riley and I walk outside and check on the garden. It is our little special time.
I’m so proud of Riley. He took the job so seriously and is so proud of his flowers.
