Sometimes…

Sometimes time passes so very slowly ~ waiting for my sweet husband to return after a trip, waiting to return home to Texas for the holidays. Time fascinates me. The way we perceive that it slows down, speeds up, stands still.

Every ounce of time. Every moment that passes adds up to make me the person I am today. But that person is ever changing. Time doesn’t stop. I am always changing.

I close my eyes. Take a deep breath. Breathe in a prayer for all that I am and all that I will become ~ a mother, a friend, a wife, a gentle listener.
