It is so very easy for me to fall into routine and to hide beind schedules.
I blame back to school shopping, parent conferences and activities starting back up again.

Let me encourage you.
Say yes to coffee. Say yes to a playground date. Say yes to the neighbor that wants to stop by.
It will do your heart good.
On Friday evening, I drove north to meet up with a few friends. I spent the day thinking of excuses, but was so glad I pushed myself into going.

I sat in the living room with friends – friends who accept me as a blogger. These friends want to help me grow and encourage me.
I left feeling full and inspired.
I’m so glad I said yes.
Say yes to something this week. It’ll be fun, ok?!
Hugs,
Kate

I think Sara said it really well. So I’ll say thank you.
Isn’t it interesting how we’re so quick to say no and list off a litany of thing that are “more important” than a little time with friends? I’m so glad you did say “yes” and remembered that putting you before the laundry and the shopping and the housekeeping is actually a benefit. Thank you for the reminder to say “yes” to ourselves more often.
I’ve been saying yes more often and I never regret it. Good for you.
I am so glad I have stumbled upon your blog! I am searching for bloggers who are at the same time following the Lord Jesus. 🙂 Nice posts. You might wanna check out mine and comments are really admired..

God bless you kate!
Awww, reading this did my heart good tonight!! 🙂 I’m so glad you said yes too!
I get in trouble for saying yes too often, but I’ll do my best to choose a good one–something where the kids expect me to say no, perhaps?
Your photos are wonderful!
