On All Saints Eve, we held our third annual get together. We made our traditional two batches of chili, loads of banana bread, and plenty of Texas cornbread.

In our city, we have a lot of neighborhoods that don’t have sidewalks or streetlights. We live in the desert, so walking around in the dark with rocky roads and scorpions isn’t the best option. Our neighborhood is more traditional, with sidewalks, streetlights, and neighbors who decorate for every holiday! The past couple years, we’ve invited people over so that they can join in our neighborhood fun!

We had Princesses, YouTube characters, Iron Man, the cast of Les Miserables, Darth Vader, Batman, Bacon and Eggs, and a Banana. It was epic.

Before they left to go on the sugar hunt, the cast of Les Miserables serenaded us with “One Day More”. I may be a little biased, but they sounded amazing.

I took each of their pictures on my phone and sent them off on their way. While they were gone, I loaded the paper in my printer and printed their pictures.

It was so fun to hand them their picture when they walked back in and sorted through their haul!
