This was a very special birthday party to photograph.

Once upon a time, this Texas girl moved to Arizona.

My sweet friend, Aimee looked up the closest Starbucks for me ~ due to my love {addiction} to Starbucks.

I became a regular.

I made a friend and her name was Shari. She knew my drink. And my kids names. And my story.

She checked on me and asked how my transition was going. I really looked forward to seeing her every day. I was crushed when she shared that she was leaving to have a precious baby.

Imagine how excited I was when I saw her at a Scottsdale Moms night out!

I was so happy for her, but knew I would miss her.

Shari, I am so glad that we reconnected.

You are an amazing mom and Alexa is beautiful!
