When I left 8-5 to follow my dreams, I had the pleasant surprise of gaining a muse.
“How does one gain a muse?”, you may ask.
Well, I received an email from my muse. It’s not attached to someone I can identify. It’s that simple.
The first few days, I wavered back and forth between absolutely perplexed and absolutely giddy.
Shortly thereafter, I decided just to enjoy it.
My first assignment was ‘A Tempting Path’.
I soon realized that every road I turned down, I began to look for beautiful paths.
I even began to play around with the word ‘path’ – like choosing chocolate at the grocery store instead of my fruit. (I know, I live on the wild side!).

So, I arrived early to a photo shoot and noticed an amazing little path up to the top of this little mountain. I wanted to run up it, (well, walk – you know… stay with me) but I knew they would be there any second, so I let it go by.
A moment frozen in time that I couldn’t stop thinking about.
As I was uploading the pictures, I knew that was it.
For that week, I loved having something else to let my thoughts cling to. Whenever my seconds turned into minutes of worry or frustration, I reassigned them to their quest.
Would you like to join me?
Doesn’t it sound fun?! Let me share my muse with you. Whenever she does show her beauty, I will share my assignment with you, so that you may enjoy the whispers, too.

I still think of the path, but for now, it remains a temptation instead of a reality.
