Thursday, I flew my babies over to Texas to spend time with my family and Brian’s family.

When we moved to Arizona, we came up with Grandma Camp. This way the kids can spend amazing one on one time with grandmas and grandpas and cousins and uncles and aunts.

I can remember spending time with my Grandmother over the summer.

It was the only time I was allowed to have strawberry milk three times a day (Thank you, Aunt Sue!)

Have I ever told you that my mother collects tea cups? They are so beautiful.

One day, when I have had a lot of Starbucks, I will photograph each one!

I’m going to miss them. The house is pretty quiet tonight.

Nate needed a little extra phone time with a few extra goodnight songs tonight.

I am going to make the most of my special time with dearest.

We took in a movie today – For Greater Glory.

It was amazing! I highly recommend it.

I will miss them so much, but I know that they will be loved and spoiled by everyone!

In the meantime, I will cherish my dates with my cute boyfriend!

Hugs,

Kate

  1. What a wonderful idea! God bless your mini-honeymoon and your children’s time with the extended family.

  2. I am totally going to rip off this idea as our kids get a little older. I love it. Enjoy your time as a couple.

  3. PS – love seeing the pics of Mama T’s cups. Everytime I see a beautiful dainty tea cup I think of her…
