Texas and Mrs. White

Today, I am happier than a June bug on a tomato plant!

I am heading to Texas to see my momma and daddy. I’ll be spending some extra time with my Grandma White.

I’ll be eating chips and salsa and playing Crazy 8’s.

    Good for you! I hope it is a wonderful weekend for all of you. My late grandmother told the best stories and taught me to crochet. One grandfather would take me on walks to McDonald’s for a soft serve cone. They were a nickel then. Christmas Eve was a big deal with my other grandparents, and it meant the world that they came to my college for parents’ and grandparents’ weekend a few weeks after my other grandmother passed away. Love you!

    Good for you – I hope you have a glorious time. My favorite memory of my grandparents are the times they would have all the girl grandchildren over to spend the night – all 6 of us. We loved our slumber parties!

    how funny…we always played crazy 8s with granny and pa-pa too. I love the story about getting kicked out of the ER, made me laugh out loud. 🙂
