This is Katie, my best friend Jen’s daughter.
Does it make me smile ear to ear that her name is Katie?
Yes, yes it does.
This is the little man I came to meet.
He and I have successfully snuck out to the grocery store twice.
We bought ice cream and 50% off Easter candy.
He treated me to a seven pump iced chai tea latte both days.
He is heavenly.
Today, I gave him a bath and I’m pretty sure angels danced around and sprinkled the most heavenly scent of baby all over us.
Jen has listened to me pour out my heart and work though issues.
She has been there for me to just… talk.
Just offering her love and her support.
As always.
Last night, Brian said he could actually hear that I sounded different… relaxed.
My prayer for you tonight is that you all have a Jen friend.
That you all have someone that helps you unwind and breathe.

Beautiful photos, beautiful friend. Yes, I have a Jen… I have more than one and lately I’ve gotten to be a Jen…more than once…for more than one person and I think that is a bigger gift. I am blessed.
