Two Saturdays ago, my dear friend Cindy treated me to a day at the Phoenix Scrapbook Cottage.
The house was amazing. It was so cozy and huge and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, including chocolate.
I used the much needed day away to make Julia and Nate’s Christmas presents and catch up on card making and photo editing.

For Julia, I wanted to make a trinket box. She is always keeping erasers and stickers and notes and needs places to put them.
I started with an empty cigar box and used decor page to glue down paper and fabric to make a base.

I wrote a note to Julia with the date on a library card to cover the cigar box advertisements and added a few embellishments.

Aahhh!! I love that box!! What a treasure! Where did you find the cigar box?
Dang you’re good!! I love it & I know she will too!
Great idea!!! My oldest is a pack rat: keys, keychains, pencils, erasers, paper….ahhh!! I use a Rubbermaid container, but this idea is WAY cuter. 🙂
