This will be the first Thanksgiving in the history of my life not to have a little of Grandma White’s cranberry salad.
She is in the hospital and is spitting mad that we will have to come see her on Thanksgiving and not the other way around.

{The song, “I wish that I knew what I know now… when I was younger…” is playing in the background}
So, if your grandmother has made her cranberry salad or giblet gravy in the other room ~ will you go take a taste just for me? Then, give her a hug just for being there?
Ok?! Thanks.
I hope you all have such a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Love to all of you!

Sweet post. I remember the first time we had a holiday without my grandmother’s rolls after she passed away. So many bittersweet memories. Prayers for your grandmother!
That’s a sweet post. Thanks. It’s funny that I read it today since my sister called me the day before Thanksgiving and asked for one of my grandmother’s recipes. It made us miss her so, and I didn’t have it and we had to call our mom. Too bad Grandma isn’t around so we could ask her. Give your Grandma a big hug! Hope your holiday was lovely.
Sweet post. I miss my grandma’s so much, especially during the holidays.
Recipe please. 🙂
So sorry Grandma wasn’t at the Thanskgiving table with you. Glad you were able to visit her. Hope she and the family are doing ok.
