A trip down memory lane…. Denton, Texas style.
The company Mr. B and I worked for is moving to a new building.
There are so many memories and laughs and good times wrapped up in this building and the people that worked there.
I recently traveled to Denton for meetings and took some time to walk around and take some pictures to hold close to my heart.
Have you ever worked with people that became family? If you have, be sure and cherish it. Hold on to those friendships tightly. It is unique and special. And rare.

The stairs Nate learned to crawl on…

Seriously? That note is still there?!!
Big, happy smiles. {Hi Matt!}

Stained glass? Who gets to have stained glass in their office. Awesome.

Long live the Fighting L’Dells. {Hi Jeremy, Orlando, Bones, Shelly and Shay!}

The break room… laughs, stories, tears, announcements, good-byes, amazing food and many cups of coffee. Maybe some burnt popcorn and a microwave on fire, too. {Hi, Eric!}

This is not the door to Narnia. See note above.

I seriously work with the most amazing group of people.
So many have gone on to other amazing things:
Bosque Brown
Bookish Coffee
Joel Dennis and the Silent Kays
{seriously, was something in the water? hugely talented group of people}

Open letter to the people of Denton:
You have a special, amazing, blessed and wonderful city.
Don’t take it for granted.
Get out there and have some ice cream at Beth Marie’s.
Go buy some books and CDs from Recycled Books.
Go have a donut at Denton Square Donuts.
Go see Isabel play harmonica at Banter.
Listen to music on the square.
And say howdy to everyone you see.
We love you and miss you and wish you the absolute best!

It may seem a little nuts to say that I am going to miss a building, but it’s true. I will.
Here’s to the future and new changes and new exciting times!
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it” ~ Ferris Bueller

Way to make me sad. 🙂
It may have a leaky roof and unreliable toilets, but I am really, really going to miss it. The end of an era! Glad you took pictures.
I miss so much having you guys there. But I am convinced that God always knows what He is doing. Good memories are treasures. And when one door closes, the best is yet to come.
