We are moving.
Not back to Texas.
{It is so very strange to type that.}
Wonderfully enough ~ it is just two neighborhoods away.
Same schools, same bus route.

Each night, we take a load of boxes over.
The kids have been really wonderful and helpful.
Mr. B insists on taking walks around the new neighborhood park.
I am so tired after working and packing and homework and dinner and one more trip.
Even though it may not be what I am in the mood for, it is always perfect.
A moment to catch my breath with my dearest.
A moment to let the reality sink in that we have each other.

As we watch the kids run ahead, he wraps his arm tightly around my waist and reassures me of our decision to buy a short sale.

That, my friends, is my life. Right now. Just as it is. Lovely.

Local moves are slightly less rushed and stressful than long-distance ones. I pray the new home is a blessing to your family and that this move is a threshold to more “grace in the desert.”
Grace, peace, and strength to you in Christ!
Moving can be stinky…but it seems like you have evryone pitching in! You are a smart momma!
