Disclosure: I was sent a Pencil Sharpener from Classroom Friendly Supplies to try out and review. I am so grateful to companies who provide opportunities like this for my family! I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

My momma was a teacher for 21 years. There is nothing quite like school supplies, especially perfectly sharpened pencils, to bring back memories of getting ready for that first day of school. My sister-in-law is a special needs teacher. I had been looking for a perfect gift for her classroom and now, I think I’ve found it!
I was reading Sara’s post, The Best Pencil Sharpener Ever and Why You should buy one, and decided that I just had to order one! I clicked over to the company’s website and learned that the company is owned by an elementary school teacher. You’ve gotta love that.
You can choose green, blue, red, or black.
I decided to go with red, because it matched my kitchen. (You can see what was happening here – I was unknowingly shifting from buying her a gift to buying myself a gift. Oops).
Well, it arrived and we love it! Sara was right. It works on any pencil and the kids have no problems using it. I loved that there were no plugs or chords to worry about. To me, that seems like the perfect gift for a teacher! I don’t need to worry about how her classroom is set up or if she has any extra outlets for an electric sharpener.
Take a look at Classroom Friendly Supplies and go get one! I’ll be heading back over there for my sister-in-law’s Christmas present since I have hijacked this one!

I would choose black. Timeless.
Red is an awesome choice. I had one awesome pencil sharpener all through school and for some very odd reason I sold it at a yard sale. Nothing has ever compared since or even came close. RIP favorite pencil sharpener. 🙁
I would choose “Black”
since my kids would have a hard time picking a color that they agreed on, I would pick black
Ok, I have some seriously challenging pencils or a really awful sharpener right now *LOL* This one would be very welcome in our study area! The blue is my favorite 🙂
I would definitely choose purple or green!
I just saw that there was no purple, so green!
I would choose red. Thanks!
I would choose blue
I would choose red please. kristiedonelson(at)gmail(dot)com Thank you.
I like the red.
RED!!
I would choose green,,,,,TY
I’d love the red pencil sharpener.
I would choose a red pencil sharpener if I were lucky enough to win.
I would choose “red”.
🙂
I would choose the Firehouse Red to go nicely in my kitchen!
While I prefer pink, I’m with too many boys. I’d get red.
Red is classic!
