DIY | River Rocks

Just a little change can really make me smile.

It doesn’t have to be expensive to really make a huge difference.

This was so easy. We just put down the River Rock and tried to mix up the colors and sizes. It creates such a beautiful entry path as opposed to the tan gravel that was there before.
This weekend, loaded the truck with free river rock from someone on Craigslist, came home and worked on the garden!

You may remember this picture from Instagram. Brian knew I had been wanting to add some river rock to our front path and he found a free pile on Craig’s List. All we had to do was show up and move it. The kids were troopers. Even Riley helped dump the huge pile into the back of  Brian’s truck.

{If I was going to do this again, I would probably wait until fall when it isn’t over 100 out by 9am}

We love finding things for free! We love being able to do it ourselves and making something look fantastic for little or no money.

Walking out the gate makes me smile.

Brian, thank you so much for working so hard with me to make our home beautiful.
