Q: How much have we spent so far on the adoption out of the $11,000?
A: We are currently at $6,500.

Q: Where are you with the adoption?
A: We are currently waiting on two last things. 1. We are waiting on the letter of certification from the state of Arizona stating that we can adopt (that we passed the home-study). 2. We are waiting on the severance of paternal rights. It is a formality that takes time. After these two things have been completed, our lawyer will file a Petition for Adoption. Hopefully it will be final in early fall.
Every day I check the mail hoping the certification will be in there.

Q: I donated. How can I tell that the money was applied?
A: I set up a little thermometer on the right with You Caring dot com. {Click here}. It will show you how we are doing. I try to update it with the donations we have received weekly. An offline donation, is a donation that we received in a way other than Paypal.
