Last week, Nate and I had the privilege of seeing a sneak preview of ANT-MAN AND THE WASP.

I was hesitant about taking Nate, because last time I felt the humor was inappropriate for him at 12 years old.

I’m thrilled to report, that I did not experience the same concerns this time. We both loved the movie. I thought it was very well done. There was not one time I was embarrassed that Nate was siting next to me. Paul Rudd is one of the funniest people on screen. He did a fantastic job, once again. The chemistry between everyone was outstanding. I thought it was a light, funny, wonderful addition to the Marvel lineup.

The father/daughter relationships through the movie are beautiful and hopeful. Dads, each in their own way, spending their life working to keep their daughters safe and loved.

The humor in the movie is spot on. A tow truck being used as a skateboard left me laughing until my sides hurt. Trust me, you’ll have to go see it!

From the Studio:

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP is directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson, Randall Park, with Michelle Pfeiffer, with Laurence Fishburne and Michael Douglas.

Now for the important questions: Would I take the other kids to see it?

Yes!

Julia (18) would absolutely love it. She loves following the MARVEL universe.

Riley (7) is too young to see the movie. The cussing in the movie is not appropriate for him.
