Last weekend, Julia sang on Saturday evening, which left us an entire Sunday open to wander. We decided to take the kids over to the Arizona Renaissance Festival. Brian had never seen the joust, so as soon as we entered, we headed to see the knights square off! I was pretty proud of myself for keeping up with everyone with my very obvious waddle.
We happened to sit in the winning section, which made the boys very happy!
We always enjoy it. The kids love the games and it is always fun to share a huge turkey leg. It was good just to be out in the sunshine and wander the shops. I love listening to the music and watching people play instruments that I’ve never or rarely seen before.
The harp is probably my favorite. It amazes me how you hold it up, steady it, and play so beautifully on an instrument like that!
If you are in the area, you really should try to get out there. The drive out is beautiful and it makes for a fun, family day!
