We are in full back to school mode! We made it through our first week and so far it has gone very well.

Riley is going to Pre-K this year on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but gives himself homework every day so that he can sit at the kitchen table with Julia and Nate. It is precious. Usually it involves a lot of cutting paper and stickers.

This year, I am trying something a little different. We are prepping lunches on Sunday afternoon. We sit at the kitchen table and each take a food item. For example – I took carrots, Julia took apples, Nate took grapes, and dad took crackers. We made twelve snack bags each and lined them up in the fridge. Each night, the kids grab their snack bags, a GoGo squeeZ, and make their sandwich. It is saving us so much time each night.

Anything that makes our lunch prep faster and easier is great with me!
