This beautiful lake is truly an Arizona treasure.

The Saturday Caden was here we packed a picnic lunch and headed up to Rattlesnake Cove.

They have wonderful pavilions perfect for picnics.

The water was perfectly cool and felt amazing.

I stayed at the pavilion and kept on eye on our things. I waded into the water to cool off for a moment and then Caden and I played cars. So fun.

After he went back to the shore with everyone, I took my quiet time to just TRUST that I was exactly where I was supposed to be. I just sat and watched and listened.

How often do we get to do that? Just sit quietly.

I wrote of few letters {one of my favorite pass-times} and read.
