I’m taking a new photography class by Ginger Unzueta. In the very first lesson, she challenged us to take pictures of our everyday. Oh, it had been so long since I grabbed the camera inside, in those ordinary moments. I usually remember to take it outside with me, but I get caught up in my to do list and forget to take those everyday moments that have so much beauty. I make excuses in my own mind about the lighting or the piles of dirty laundry.

I’m so glad she reminded me of this. These images bring me so much joy, which is the point of photography after all, right?!
