Being and ex-Cheerleader is hard work…

I am officially the loudest cheering parent on the sidelines.

“Hustle”

“Get your head in the game”

“Keep your eye on the ball”

Really. The coach is very thankful, I’m sure of it. I am just making his job that much easier and saving his voice.

I mean. He’s never said so, but I can see it. I notice other parents staring and I want to say “Hey, it’s cool ~ You can thank me”.

But, I know, it’s a thankless job.

I’m cool with that.

Sweet Baby J’s team is really fun to watch this year.

She is at the age where they no longer act as a hoarde of hungry wolves chasing a ball.

There is real teamwork and thougthfulness in accomplishing the task at hand… WINNING! I mean… um, learning fundamental soccer skills and leaning on your team mates. Yeah. That’s it.
