Dear Mom,
How did you do it? You always had the house looking so full of Thanksgiving cheer.
How did you stay so positive? You had everything done and still had a smile on your face.
One day I will have it all together.
One day I will understand how you did it.
I am so happy you are coming to celebrate with us. I am so excited to know that you are going to be in my home and love me for all that I am and not notice how it isn’t perfect.
There are only four corners of decorations in my house that are remotely Thanksgiving, but I know you’ll rave and appreciate them, because that is what you do for me.

Your house is beautiful! And so comfortable and not so much a house as it is a home. Decorations are like makeup, some days you need some and others, nah.
