This summer, I attended the On-the-Road Social Media Moms Celebration. There was one held here in Scottsdale, so my drive was short and sweet. It was so wonderful to reunite with friends from earlier in April.

Here in Arizona, we have an amazing group of bloggers who support each other and really care about each other’s success. I know that is rare and that we are lucky to have that kind of community. Megan is one of those girls. Every blogging tip and trick she learns, she passes on with a smile. It was a great day just to spend with people who understand what blogging is.

Perhaps the most exciting thing is that I was able to meet Grumpy Cat. He, for some unknown reason, was not excited to meet me.

And then… this happened. The very first photography book I ever purchased was Expressive Photography by the Shutter Sisters. And who was speaking about photography? Tracey Clark, the founder of Shutter Sisters. I had a total fan girl moment and gushed about buying her book and said some other random thoughts and she offered to take a picture. Yup. She’s amazing. She encouraged us to elevate the everyday and to capture those moments that might just slip by.

The day was packed with delicious food, inspirational talks, and encouragement about being a mom.
