Do you know what I LOVE about you guys?! You rejoice with me and encourage me!
When I shyly mention a magical moment, looking down at my feet – you yell ‘Hurray’ and ask us to explain.
So, what is a Magical Moment?

(The sunset as we left Epcot that day)
We asked and asked why we were chosen and our friend Heather just smiled at us.
She said that sometimes, a cast member gets to pick out a family. They surprise this family with a gift – a moment. Moments are different for each family. For us, that moment was heading as a group to the front of the line at Soarin’ and a beautiful certificate to remember the moment.
We asked “why us?” Why did she pick us? Was it the group shirts that Alyx made for us? Was it Riley’s adorable dimples and red hair or Nate’s awesome surfer curls? Maybe it was dad’s Texas Rangers cowboy hat? She just smiled.
We certainly didn’t feel like we had done anything to deserve it.
I think that was the best part. We left feeling special and loved – for nothing that we had done on our part – but because of the Grace that she showed to us. After the ride, we ate ice cream together in The Lands, and speculated about why she had chosen us.
(Remind you of someone else? Maybe how God treats each one of us?!)
Love you guys!
Kate

Walt Disney said, if you believe in magic anything is possible. All you have to do is believe. I may not be you best friend in the whole wide world, but I think I know you well enough to say I know you believe in Disney magic. As your blog states, “give with no expectation”. And when you do that the universe is happy and people who believe know you do too.
Hope our vacation was filled with many more moments that will fill stories for many years to come.
We had a similar experience at Universal Studios in June. We asked one of the young workers in front of the Despicable Me ride for suggestions as to what to see and do first, and he took our whole group of 9 people (Grandma, PaPa, Mom, Dad and 5 children) to the head of the line of that attraction to get our day started in a special way. What a blessing!
