Disneyland – Day 5, Continued
Thank you for being patient with me as I cataloged my memories. As I get older, my days fill up so quickly, I get stretched so thin and I have learned that if I don’t write everything down, it will disappear into a fuzzy haze. This was the best vacation I have ever had. This was the longest vacation since Brian and I’s honeymoon, almost 10 years ago!

What did I learn at Disney?
1. Sharing memories of your childhood with your children means so much to them! (My brother and I have amazing memories of going to the Blue Bayou with my parents when we were younger ~ it is still there and Julia and Nate couldn’t believe that they were sitting somewhere I sat when I was young).
2. People are still kind. People still delight at children’s giggles. People still let you cut in the line at the restroom when your six year old is hopping up and down with urgency. People still help you pick up the spilled contents of your backpack when you forgot to zip it after passing out the water bottles.
3. Being kind to your spouse is the most important thing you can do today. They put up with you. They love you at your sweatiest. They encourage you at your tiredest. Smile at them. Tell them how great they are. Remind them why you chose them and why you still choose them today.
