External Cephalic Version and Mary Alice

A few weeks ago, I shared on Instagram that we were headed to the hospital for version. The procedure was successful and we headed home after a few hours.

I’ll be honest – everything I read said that the procedure would be uncomfortable. Well, my experience was that it was just downright not fun. Yes, they monitored her heart rate and my heart rate and blood pressure. We were both completely fine and we were never in distress, but wow. If you have had this procedure, my hat is off to you.

Well, the stinker turned right back around the next day. Can you believe that?

She already has a complete mind of her own.

So, here we wait, still on baby watch and praying that she goes ahead and turns correctly.

Her official due date is Thursday. I am so ready to see her cute little face and kiss those toes!

Can you believe it is almost here?!

  1. Sometimes they wait until the very end to turn. 🙂

  2. We are praying right now that Mary Alice will turn to the right position and for her safe arrival!
