School started a few weeks ago. It has been a complete blur! Julia is in ninth grade this year and Nate is in sixth. I am officially a parent of a high school-er. Riley misses them so much when they are at school. I’m just not quite as exciting as they are. 🙂

I’ve started making up homework for him while we are at home. He gets so excited about it and shows it to Julia and Nate as soon as they get home. We’ve also started to tackle our poor garden. It was so hot in August, I’m afraid I neglected it too much. I lost the lavender, but it looks like the peach tree will forgive me.

I do love the schedule and rhythm of school, but I am so terrible at change. I finally had gotten into the swing of summer. Thank you for bearing with me while things were so quiet here on the blog the last few weeks. It’s good to be back 🙂
