On that day, my friends were kind enough to be patient with me as I acted like a true tourist.
It was a perfectly, just rained day.
These friends have been with me through so much.
They have seen me move to Arizona.
They have stood by me as a rock through my husband’s lay off.
They have supported my over the top optimism when an avalanche is clearly happening.

Three of my five dear Denton colleagues who I am blessed to call friend.
Tonight, I celebrate friendship and raise my arms high and yell “hooray” for finding friends and having the honor to be a friend.

Friends are so important and it is so gratifying and wonderful to find people who truly know you, and love you through thick and thin. You seem to have found those people.
