A few weeks before graduation, the moms of the seniors were visiting and decided to combine our graduation parties into one. Instead of asking the same families to come to five separate events, we decided to throw one, wonderful, fun event for the upper school and all teachers.
Brian and I hosted at our home and the other families knocked it out of the park with food and drinks and desserts and gifts and karaoke! It was such a beautiful evening celebrating our kiddos. I’m so thankful for the families of Julia’s classmates. We’ve pulled together to put on some really amazing and fun events. These moms have gotten me through my first high school graduation. They’ve been examples of grace and kindness and service. I’ve been so blessed to get closer to them over the last few years. They’ve become some of my dearest friends. (Next time we are going to get a picture together!)
A few weeks before the party, Brian surprised me and we paved the backyard area behind the kitchen. He put up patio covers and strung twinkle lights for our own little fairy tale.
Brian, my father, my father-in-law, my brother-in-law (Andrew), and Nate worked so hard on making the backyard beautiful for that night. Thank you!
Thank you so much to everyone who came and made it such a beautiful night!
