My Grandmother came to Scottsdale! Can you believe it?!
So, mom and grandmother offered to help watch my babies since they were still on winter break and I was working…
They offered to take them to Houston to give Brian and I some alone time, but when we found out that my Grandmother was willing to travel, we wanted to spend as much time with her as possible!

My Grandmother is amazing ~ the life of the party!
My baby girl Julia is the oldest of an oldest of an oldest – for eight generations – all ladies! We are a bossy bunch 🙂

Nate took this picture – not bad, huh?!

The first night we took everyone to dinner at our favorite steakhouse for great views and great food.
My grandma is my hero. I can still hear her praying. She knows – KNOWS – that there is a God, that He listens to her and that He answers her prayers. She talks to Him as a friend, a best friend – that she doesn’t have to explain anything to. He knows her. He gets her. And she knows He still loves her.
I pray everyday that I can carry her attitude and love for her Savior into everyday. I’ll be praying for all of you, too!

That is so awesome that they came to AZ! I hope you all had a great time!
