I’ll be honest. Today didn’t exactly go like I had hoped.
I scoured the internet for an egg hunt J could participate in. I found one, arrived 30 min early and they were already too swamped. She gave all her eggs to the younger kids then had an unfortunate accident with a fountain.
I wanted so badly to make memories… to take some perfect Easter weekend pictures, but it just didn’t work out.
Nothing went quite right. Nothing.
Until tonight. We went to Easter Vigil. It reminded me. (Sometimes we need the reminder and a good swift kick in the patootie).
He is the reason. He suffered and died, my goodness. There is a story…

I feel the same way. I do. I get so worried about things. I get so upset. But none of it matters. None of it. He came so that we might have life. He came so that we could live more abundantly.
When will I learn? When will I remember to give it all to Him and stop being so anxious.
Our sweet friends invited us to an egg hunt tomorrow. God is so good to us. He takes care of us even when we don’t deserve anything…
