I suppose I should just tell you…
It was our honeymoon, after all. We decided we’d treat oursevles to a massage in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Horrible, terrible, horrible idea.
Mine went like this:
What ensued was a room full – literally – of teens in town for the Miss Teen USA beauty paegant.
Upon their exit I received a wonderful, passionate speech from their sponsor about how some of us have bodies like used cars.
What? i’m a newlywed, she couldn’t possibly be talking about me.
Oh, but she was. I finally was brave enough to look around a little and there were four of us in there that did not belong with her group. LOL.
Good memories. All that matters.

A belated happy anniversary, friend! I’m glad you can laugh about that memory now (you’re laughing, right?), but it must have stung pretty badly at the time, at least if your body image is anything like mine.
